Post 100 - Woot.
Weep not for me though I am gone;
into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will but not for long,
upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest.
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was blessed;
for all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts.
In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath;
remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death,
but celebrate my life.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Because I could not stop for death,
He kindly stopped for me.
The carriage held but just ourselves,
And Immortality.

Hey Meagan,
Who is the author of that poem? It's such an appropriate poem for my life right now, not that I'm dying but for other things...a metaphor, if you will.
Anywho, if you could tell me the author that would be schweet.

Jillian,
The poem is really nice, eh? For some reason, it means a lot to me. But, like you, I'm not dying. haha
It's by Constance Jenkins. I'm not really sure who that is. haha. But, apparently, it was written in memory of her dog. There's a whole site dedicated to it:
