We Go Together

My Orientation brochure arrived today. Holy lot of activities! Two fun-filled days of team spirit and friend making. Yee-haw. The titles of the activities include "Become Energized," "Become Known," "Become Connected," "Become a flying Sea-Hawk" . . ..

University classes don't worry me. I've got security coming out of my ying yang about my courses. And living on my own will be hard, but I'll get over it. But reading about all these joyous, hip hoppin' orientation sessions gives me a pain in my stomach. It's that whole cold sweats sort of deal.

I'm not all too hyped up about this Orientation thing. I'm torn between being a stick-in-the-mud and only going long enough to find out where all the bathrooms and fire exits are, and going whole-hog and starting University as one of those crazy kids.

I already know I'm going on a very long adventure my first full week in St. Johns =D

You need to get your nose out of those books, and start working on your social skills! I think the activities look funnnnn. You're SUPPOSED to do all this stuff when you go to university.
